MULTIROTOR service-drone wins second place in the world's first drone Marathon
MULTIROTOR service-drone won second place with the series model G4 Surveying-Robot at the world's first drone Marathon last Sunday. With the only genuine production model at the start MULTIROTOR service-drone underlined once again the technological leadership position, the high level of technological development, and superior reliability of its products.
Pilot Frank Schönbohm flew the MULTIROTOR G4 Surveying-Robot equipped with standard batteries with gusts around 45 km/h over 30 laps and a distance of 42 kilometers to the finishing line. The production model reached top speeds of 100 kilometers per hour and flew absolutely balanced and stable as if on rails. MULTIROTOR service-drone only had to concede to a non production-based system with quadruple increased battery capacity after about 40 minutes of racing. Other systems saw the checkered flag up to 20 minutes after the MULTIROTOR G4 Surveying-Robot from Berlin.
