Information on commercial use of camera drones

The flying cameras, hand-crafted by service-drone, are remotely operated by sight by a pilot on the ground and by an additional cameraman if required. The video drones have a practical range of several hundred meters (as far as the eye can see), transmit the live image used to coordinate the camera in real-time to the ground station and have a battery life of up to 30 minutes (depending on the model, battery and payload). The high-resolution photos and films in HD quality are saved on board or transmitted in real-time to a receiver on the ground. Our aircraft have an exclusively civilian purpose and are have nothing in common with military drones, either technically or practically.

The use of our video drones (UAV) is clearly regulated by law in Germany and other countries. Flying in Germany must be done according to visual flight rules (VFR), i.e. the pilot must always have visual contact with the aircraft. Film productions can therefore be done easily and reliably without the need for maintenance flights. However, fully automatic or autonomous flights are forbidden if the pilot cannot keep the aircraft in sight and cannot intervene manually. It is illegal to carry out flights without a permission to fly, for spying purposes or to record any third parties without their express agreement. You always need compulsory insurance.

With service-drone, every customer receives individual training, detailed instructions and a countersigned safety briefing.
