Fly in front.
B2B market leader since 2008, Innovation Award, 2014.
MULTIROTOR is the trailblazer of one of the most cutting-edge technology trends in recent years. Our company can look back on vast experience and a broad customer base in the field of multicopter drones for commercial and professional use. We are well aware of our role as one of the technology and market leaders and we are working hard every day to live up to this prominent position.
Transition from a pure hardware manufacturer to an end-to-end solution provider | Centralization of all activities at the Brieselang site
MULTIROTOR accommodates for the professionalization and maturation of the UAV market with a refined strategy of not only offering the flying hardware alone but tailoring complete end-to-end solutions to industrial and public sector customers.
Also in this year, the growing company is bundling its activities at the Brieselang site which has been the R&D department's location since 2013. A clear advantage over a location in an inner city area is that extensive flying and testing can be carried out in the surrounding fields and meadows - a crucial factor in the development of professional UAV systems.
Starting in autumn 2017, MULTIROTOR participates as one of the winners in the German Accelerator Programme in Silicon Valley where it is preparing its entry to the US market, the world's largest single market for commercial UAV applications.
- GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo Support
- 20 Hz output rate
- Positional accuracy 8 mm horizontal, 15 mm vertical
- Position sensor on the camera for precise camera angles
- Correction data either from the Internet or with its own base station on site.
- The RTK system is on board not only to carry out measurements, but our Flight Control also uses the more accurate RTK data for navigation.
The benefits for you in everyday use:
- Accurate measurement flights are therefore possible without survey control points on the ground
- Significantly more precise positioning (vertical and horizontal) of the drone
- Flight paths are maintained more accurately
- Automatic landing on the charging pad (Skysense) is possible
The announcement was made at AUVSI's Unmanned Systems 2015 Conference and Exhibition, the largest international event in the unmanned systems and robotics market.
The purpose of the working committee ARTIE is to lay the foundation for innovation and to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. Ten rural districts as well as four cities are affiliated in the regional network for technology, innovation and development in the Elbe-Weser-region.
For the first time the ARTIE- region offers an innovation award. Among the nominated companies was also the service-drone.de GmbH, which is based in Buchholz in der Nordheide with the production of the innovative flight systems. The company produces easy and safe to handle UAV’s with four to eight rotors for film, industry, measurement and agricultural application.
‘The company is especially innovative because of its outstanding product attributes and the attained technology leadership’, constitutes the jury its decision to declare the service-drone.de GmbH as the winner of the ARTIE-innovation award 2014.
On time with the INTERGEO 2014 the market leader for film drones in the German speaking area MULTIROTOR by serivce-drone presented the new MULTOROTOR G4 Surveying-Robot for the creation of orthophotos and 3D terrain models with outstanding success.
The new MULTIROTOR G4 Surveying-Robot is not just a benefit for modern surveyor as an innovative measuring instrument, but especially convinces with an outstanding technology that has just won the ARTIE Innovationprice 2014. The G4 Surveying-Robot enables a hardly conceivable measurement result of 1 mm ground resolution and equally unique flight stability at wind strength till 10-15 meter per second. By MULTIROTOR in Germany produced hard- and software, that navigates the flight-robot to an exact position in the air 512 times per second, makes it possible.
Every UAV currently on offer by MULTIROTOR is equipped with the revolutionary G4 MULTIROTOR flight control.
Sales skyrocket - with revenue reaching EUR 1 million.
Both founders combine years of passion for aeromodeling. While Volker Rosenblatt has acquired his expert knowledge in his production of rotor blades which he later passed on to hundreds of enthusiasts in his own model helicopter academy, Oliver Knittel has been a successful advertising expert with his own agency for more than 15 years. At the time, he is repeatedly faced with the problem that high-quality aerial photography is difficult to get and if available at all, very expensive. The idea for service-drone.de GmbH is born.
The MR - X8 was with its own flight electronics ahead of its time and is the forerunner of the current MULTIROTOR multicopter that now fly in the 4th generation MULTIROTOR FlightControl.
The idea and the ambition of the developers to build a truly perfect Multikopter resulted from the great disappointment in the flight systems available at that time, which flew anything but safe for use and were very expensive. At the center of considerations were reliability and ease of use. The MR-X8 practically flew itself by the prescribed flight parameters via sensors and extreme control commands were limited.
